Need help with Auteeth? Email imyawin1@gmail.com and we’ll get back to you. To help us help you faster, include your browser and version, what you were doing, and what happened — but never send us your master password, recovery code, or any 2FA secrets. We can’t read your encrypted data and we’ll never ask for those.
Common questions
- I forgot my master password
- Use your one-time recovery code (saved at sign-up) to recover your vault and set a new master password. Because everything is encrypted on your device, if you lose both your master password and your recovery code, your synced data cannot be recovered by anyone — including us.
- My codes aren't syncing across browsers
- Make sure you're signed in with the same email on each browser and that you've unlocked the vault at least once. Sync needs a connection — codes keep working offline and will sync next time you're online. If a free-tier backend has been idle for a while it can take a moment to wake up.
- Biometric unlock stopped working
- A passkey is bound to a specific extension install. If you reinstalled the extension or moved from the development build to the Chrome Web Store build, re-register your passkey in Account settings.
- Delete my account and synced data
- Email us from your account's email address and we'll delete your account and all of its encrypted data from our servers. Uninstalling the extension or clearing its storage removes the local copy on that device.
Privacy & data
Auteeth is zero-knowledge: your 2FA secrets and saved passwords are encrypted on your device and are never readable by us. For the full details of what data is handled and how, see the Privacy Policy.
